Dr. Daniel Butler is a dermatologist who cares for patients with a range of skin conditions, including cancer, infections and inflammatory diseases. In his research, Butler studies specific conditions, such as atopic dermatitis (eczema). He also pursues research focused on improving the understanding of skin disease in aging individuals. After earning his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, Butler completed a residency in dermatology at Harvard Medical School. In addition to serving on the faculty at UCSF, Butler teaches at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
