Harrison P. Nguyen, MD, MBA, MPH, is a double board-certified Dermatologist/Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and clinical researcher in Houston, Texas. He serves as Managing Director/Chief Investigator at Harrison Dermatology & Research Group, Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Health Economics at the University of Houston College of Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine. He graduated with honors from Rice University, where he was an All-Conference Linebacker for the Rice Owls Football Team. He continued on to earn his MD from Baylor College of Medicine, MBA from the Yale School of Management, MPH from the Yale School of Public Health, and DTM&H from the National School of Tropical Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an Associate Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. He previously was Chief Resident in Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Nguyen leads the American Academy of Dermatology's Health Policy Research Group and has been a Visiting Professor at the Oregon Health & Science University, the Baylor College of Medicine, and Louisiana State University. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology and Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and has authored over 70 PubMed-indexed scientific articles.
